新南村是广东省梅州市丰顺县潘田镇所辖的行政村，全村面积13.47平方千米，在册人口3566人（博雅地名网所载，年份未注明）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
该地在潘田片区以南，又以南溪埔为中心，故名新南。[1]1949年以前称南溪，新中国成立后改为新南；1956年设新南高级社，1958年后为新南大队；至1983年改乡；1987年又称管理区；直到1999年起称新南村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
经济作物有烤烟、水稻、玉米、生姜和冬瓜，烤烟为特色收入；以种粮为主，兼营多种作物。[1]
2019年9月，广东省公布2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位，该村名列其中；2026年3月，列为广东省第三批“百千万工程”的典型村镇。[1]
