历史沿革[edit]
流经村中的北溪河床里大小石头很多，所以叫石坑。[1]1958年起称石坑大队；至1983年改乡；1987年又称管理区；直到1999年起称石坑村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
村中种水稻和番薯；广东省农业农村厅2021年9月公布了第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，石坑村凭檀香名列其中。[1]
2019年9月，广东省公布2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位，该村名列其中。[1]
