华亭村是广东省梅州市丰顺县潘田镇所辖的行政村，全村面积5.34平方千米，在册人口2915人（博雅地名网所载，年份未注明）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
原名茶亭。相传清代有书生进京赶考，途中在此树下歇凉，许愿中举后在此建茶亭供行人乘凉，后来果然中举并建了茶亭，地方因此称茶亭。1952年成立乡政府时，取谐音改写为“华亭”。[1]建国后改称华亭；1956年设华亭高级社，1958年为华亭大队；至1983年改乡；1987年又称管理区；直到1999年称华亭村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
经济作物有烤烟、生姜、水稻和番薯，烤烟为特色收入；据所载，上一年农村经济总收入为1138万元，近年以烤烟、仙草、生姜为主带动更多农户增收，外出务工经商收入约550万元。[1]
2019年9月，广东省公布2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位，该村名列其中。[1]
