村里有一处松柏岗，1949年以前松柏茂盛，曾办松柏小学，其后设松柏乡，村名由此而来。[1]1956年称松柏高级社，1958年起称松柏大队；至1983年改乡；1987年又称管理区；直到1999年改称村委会。[1]
