布心村在惠东县白盆珠镇。这里本是一片荒埔，祖先在荒埔正中盖房定居，起名埔心；新中国成立后，为了书写简便，改“埔”为“布”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
同治九年（1870）为升平社堡下的布心小村，由平山司巡检管辖。1951年12月成布心小乡，属惠阳县第二十二区；1957年12月并入布心乡；1963年2月起为新庵公社的布心大队。1983年与横瑶合并，称布心乡，1986年二者分开。1987年3月，据惠东府函〔1987〕18号文设布心村委；1990年称管理区；1998年起称布心村委会。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，布心村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
