太宪村地处莫村镇和永丰镇的交界，面积约4平方公里，分2个村民小组，850人，被称作莫村镇的南大门。^[1]1998年经德庆县人民政府批准设村民委员会，因驻地为太宪村而得名。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初是太宪乡，1958年改称太宪大队，1986年又称管理区，1998年起为村委会。^[1]

村民以种植贡柑、沙糖桔、佛手为主。2021年9月入选广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（广佛手）；2023年4月，太宪村在2022年度广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位之列；2026年1月被评为省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。^[1]
