波溪村在两英镇、司马浦镇与仙城镇三镇交界处；旧时大南山的水流入村中溪里，水急成波，叫波浪溪，后简称波溪[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村子创建于明嘉靖四十四年（1565年）：姚氏由普宁大青洋迁来，兄弟二人，弟居上寨，兄居下寨；林氏由陈店溪口村迁来。明、清至民国初期属洋乌都，1921年划入第九区。1950年隶六禾二乡；1986年设村委会，其前的1983年归七陂乡，1958年是浪溪大队，1992年叫管理区，1999年复称村委会[1]。

经济[edit]

耕地456亩，山地750亩，近3260人，主要种水稻、蔬菜，劳力多去两英、陈店等镇打工。资料写明村集体收入1.09万元、农民年人均收入1472元（年份未注）[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月列入第一批广东省卫生村；2026年3月又被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
