红旗社区在汕头市濠江区礐石街道，前临324国道和礐石大桥，旧称上人家，是清初由外地迁来的周、曾两姓开村[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
清初，潮阳峡山的周姓和龙溪的曾姓人家先后迁来，务农和捕捞，渐成村落；邻村蜈田人称此处为「上面的人家」，村名即作上人家[1]。1946年属珠园乡，1959年设红旗大队，「红旗」取红旗飘扬之意；1984年称红旗管理区，1986年设村委会，1999年6月设居委会，2003年起属濠江区[1][2]。
现状[edit]
社区简介载，辖区有山地约1290亩、耕地68.5亩，人口1268人、263户，企业12家[1]。红旗社区于2024年1月被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」，2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村[1]。
