章禾洞村在南雄市全安镇西北，离镇政府约20千米，曾属苍石镇，2001年苍石镇并入全安镇后设章禾洞村委会。[1]
地名[edit]
博雅地名网说，因张姓一位受人敬重的妇女，此地曾称「张婆洞」，后谐音改「章和洞」，张姓迁走后又简写为「章禾洞」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949至1954年是苍石乡下的章禾洞农会；1956年同大坑合并，翌年归温泉乡；1961年建大队，隶全安公社；1983年改乡，1988年改管理区，属苍石镇；2001年撤销苍石镇并入全安镇。[1]
经济[edit]
约2009年前后的数据：总面积20平方千米，9个村民小组，199户、822人，耕地808.965亩，山林1.4万多亩，收入以林地和水稻为主；帮扶项目含芒鼠、毛竹、生姜、五黑鸡养殖。[1]
荣誉[edit]
广东省卫生村（2023年度，2024年3月命名）；2020年8月进入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（特色禽类）；2019年9月入选广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
著名人物[edit]
李子亮（1906—1975），字翰明，号明生，祖父信奉基督教，父亲李舒碧是在曲江传教的牧师。[1]
