博雅地名网说，聂姓人家来此开荒时，荒地多簕（荆刺，南雄客家方言称「荔」），故称荔迳。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949至1958年称荔迳乡；1958至1984年改大队，1983年改乡，1988年称管理区，1998年撤区建村。[1]
经济[edit]
约2009年前后的数据：11个村民小组，380户、1385人，耕地1220亩，山林0.8万多亩，硬化道路8公里；辖区有大龙佛电站。[1]
