陂头村在南雄市全安镇东北，离镇政府8千米，村名取自旧时用于灌溉的陂（拦水坝）。莲塘坳的宋代窑址在村境内。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初称陂头乡；1958年改陂头大队；1966年陂头大队和河塘的3个自然村划归省办国营凌江农场；1983年改乡，1988年改管理区，1998年撤区建村；黄岭村委会在2004年12月并入。[1]
经济[edit]
约2009年前后的数据：总面积9平方千米，21个村民小组，712户、3223人，耕地4253亩，山林逾3万亩，人均纯收入3500元（2009年），主要种水稻、花生、黄烟，硬化道路26公里；帮扶项目为电站入股。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月，陂头村获2022年广东省卫生村称号；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
