河塘村在南雄市全安镇东北，离镇政府约1千米，临浈江，村内有鱼塘，故名河塘。村内麦家巷有1983年发掘的明代碗砖结构墓。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初属南雄县第六区全安乡，1951至1953年划入里岗乡；1959年建大队，1983年政社分开设乡，1986年改称管理区，1998年建村。[1]
经济[edit]
约2009年前后的数据：13个村民小组，546户、2268人，耕地2500亩，主要种花生和水稻，硬化道路7公里。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年4月名列广东省乡村治理示范村（2022年度）创建单位；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
