历史沿革[edit]
该村1958年设大队，1983年设乡政府，1987年设村民委员会，1989年改设管理区，1998年恢复村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
经济[edit]
全村240户、1470人，水田570亩、旱地547亩、林地942亩，土地共2059亩；有贫困户121户520人、低保户48户80人[1]。
镇政府多年来为该村杨梅山等村小组建设饮水工程。通行政村的公路已硬化，绝大部分村小组仍未通水泥路，村庄分散、地势陡。村设低年级小学和乡村卫生站。当地农业仍然靠天吃饭[1]。
荣誉[edit]
何家冲村在2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」之列[1]。
