军二村是马头镇辖下的行政村，在新丰县东北部[1]。据博雅地名网所载沿革，这一带1953年属军屯乡，1959年为军屯大队，1983年分出军二乡，1990年成为管理区，1998年起为村民委员会[1]。2026年1月，军二村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。2025年5月，它入选「2025—2026年全国示范性老年友好型社区创建名单」[1]。2024年3月，被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」[1]。军二村名列2019年9月公布的2018年「广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。
