桐木山村是马头镇辖下的行政村，在新丰县东北部[1]。据博雅地名网所载沿革，1953年设乡，1958年改称大队，1984年改设乡政府，1990年成为管理区，1998年起为村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
桐木山一带规划有面积约2万亩的温泉旅游项目，离大广高速马头出口约30分钟车程；山中有温泉、森林和溪流，温泉水含硫、铜、铁等矿物质，属硫磺温泉[2]。
