左村村是曲江区大塘镇下辖的行政村。村名中的“左”字是祖辈相传下来的。[1]村委会在106国道沿线，距韶关市区中心15公里，距大塘镇中心2公里，全村349户、1535人，11个村民小组，面积9.6平方公里；耕地1771亩，山地16700亩。[1]2006年，左村既是省长联系村，也是韶关市的固本强基工程示范村。[1]

2021年9月，左村村列入第二批省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为水果。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清末属左甲；县人民政府成立的1949年10月，这里设左岭乡政府，属第四区；1951年5月称左岭村政府；1952年3月称左岭乡，属马坝区；公社化时期（1961年3月起）为大塘公社的左岭大队；1983年11月改称左岭乡；1986年12月设左岭村委会，1989年该村委会撤销并一分为二，左村为其一。[1]
