丈古岭村是曲江区大塘镇下辖的行政村。据说因土地肥沃、谷穗粒大而取名丈谷岺，后来“谷”与“古”音近，写作丈古岭。[1]全村13个自然村，共1530人（含党员43人），耕地约1700亩，种莲藕、芋头、水稻、花生。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年5月设左岭村政府，属第四区；1952年3月称左岭乡，属大塘区；公社化时期（1961年3月起）为大塘公社的丈古岭大队；撤社建乡改革后的1983年11月起称丈古岭乡，到1986年12月又定名丈古岭村委会，其间1989年曾叫管理区，1998年12月恢复村委会之名。[1]
