历史沿革[edit]
据传清初从小龙村分出一部分人到此看守祖坟，因有大涌通向村口，遂建桥，称桥头庄，人口增多后独立为村，改称桥山[1]。百度百科则写作建村于元末明初[2]。1984年称桥山乡，1987年设桥山村民委员会[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
村内引入省级农业龙头企业，花卉产业转型升级，2020年8月入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（花卉）；村集体年收入约2500万元[1][2]。2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村，2024年1月被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」[1]。
文物[edit]
区级不可移动文物在村内有两处，即玉川曾公祠和则颜曾公祠；村里还流传醒狮文化[2]。
