低涌村是广州市番禺区石碁镇东南端的行政村，地处低洼的沙田地带，河网纵横，面积4000多亩，村民以耕作和水产养殖为生[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期，低涌与海傍同属石碁；1953年低涌属四区海傍乡，次年办起初级农业生产合作社，社名海傍幸福社。公社化后并入海傍大队，1959年与海傍分开，1966年起叫红星大队，「文化大革命」后恢复原名，1987年成立村民委员会[1]。村名据说是因村委会设在低涌而来[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
村里的开支主要靠土地和鱼塘发包维持，2009年集体收入约263万元[1]。2020年至2022年，低涌村连续入选淘宝村名单，2019年列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单[1]。
