历史沿革[edit]
村子南宋时建村，因村北有两条形如龙的河涌（大龙涌、小龙涌），村在小龙涌旁，得名小龙[1]。1953年为小龙乡，1958年公社化时与大龙合并，1962年又分开；「文化大革命」期间一度改称东昇大队，1974年复名，1984年称小龙乡，1987年设村民委员会[1]。
文物与民俗[edit]
村内的曾氏大宗祠始建于明永乐九年（1411年），列为番禺区文物保护单位；村里每年在农历正月初六举行康公主帅宝诞庆典[2]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
村民约3145人，外来人口约3600人；收入来自土地、厂房和铺位出租，2009年集体收入630万元[1][2]。小龙涌经整治后入选广州市最美巡河路线，村曾获得广东省卫生村、广州市文明示范村等称号，2023年被命名为广州市健康社区（村）[2]。
