历史沿革[edit]
人民公社化时期，南山、双坑、玉棠三村合组南双玉公社。[1]南双玉村委会1987年设立，隶属沙头镇；此后随区划调整，1992年归市桥镇，1993年归市桥街道，2001年归沙头街道。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村集体收入主要来自土地、商铺和仓库出租，广深港铁路与东新高速公路经过辖区。[1]2019年，南双玉村进入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2018年度）；2021年和2022年列入淘宝村名单。[1]
