历史沿革[edit]
明代开村，村前有鱼塘、后山有罗山（岗），初称罗塘。后来罗塘分南北两约，南约人口增多、地盘较大，叫大罗塘；到1959年定名大罗。[1]村委会1987年设立，隶属沙头镇；此后随区划调整，1992年归市桥镇，1993年归市桥街道，2001年归沙头街道。[1]
经济[edit]
村里以冷冻货物的批发采购、储藏、物流配送和加工出口为主，并提供商务代理、检验检疫、金融等配套服务。[1]街道概况将大罗村与「大罗塘珠宝名镇」相联系，称其为珠宝文化特色精品村，并列为广东省乡村治理示范村。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年和2022年列入淘宝村名单；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
