山下村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西南部，距镇区约3.5公里，崩坎至大坪的公路穿村而过。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

此地原属惠来县，建国后归入普宁县第十一区的一个乡。1952年改设乡，1958年公社化时与邻近村庄合为大队；1961年从中划出，单独建队。1983年设山下乡，1986年改设村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年又恢复村委会的名称。[1]

自然与产业[edit]

村境包括7个自然村。镇区的第一高山狮子崖山在村内。[2]

村民多种果树，青梅与橄榄最为常见，村内有殿羽田青梅示范园，村子也是高埔镇青梅的产区之一。花岗岩石和林木资源较为丰富，村中出产花岗岩石。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，山下村入选广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村，产业为青梅。[1]
