东安社区位于惠来县惠城镇城区东侧，东华路、国防路、安福路纵贯其南北。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1953年，东安村成立农协会；1953年至1957年办初级社和高级社。1958年称东安连，1962年并入东山大队，1967年东山大队分为三个大队，东安独立为一个生产大队。[1]

1983年设东山乡下的东安村，1987年改为东安管理区，2002年起为东安社区居委会，此名沿用至今。[1]
