石坑村是文祠镇下辖的行政村，由柴杭、仙谷、秉坎、麻池下、大路下5个自然村组成，主村称柴坑。解放前此地称“石坑”。[1]

村名与沿革[edit]

主村柴坑早年村民多经营木材买卖，村名由此而来。1958年公社化时此地属东社大队，1976年自东社分出，另设石坑大队；1999年起改设石坑村民委员会。[1]

人口与产业[edit]

山地4446亩；农业以橄榄、杨梅为主。2005年本村计有875人，分属237户。[1]

荣誉[edit]

本村在2019年12月被列入第一批国家森林乡村。2024年1月，本村列为2023年度广东省民主法治示范村（社区）之一。2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
