中兴社区隶属潮安区庵埠镇，坐落在镇中心，沿中兴路两侧展开：东段始于新市桥，西段止于大治桥，庵江溪在南部流过。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的源头是1956年3月设立的一个居民委员会，直到2002年5月才改制为社区居民委员会的体制。[1]

据百度百科，社区辖区总人口14648人，下设5个居民组和69个居民小组。旧式三合土墙平房占大多数，也夹杂少量钢筋混凝土楼房。[1]
