美乡村位于潮安区政府驻地南侧约1.4千米、庵埠镇政府西南约0.55千米处，在潮仙公路西侧，村中主姓为陈。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明末清初，茂龙、竹围、亭下三村的部分村民迁居此地，形成村落。[1]
村北旧有一座小石桥，村子俗称桥仔头。这里属于「四乡陈」聚落群，建村最晚，方言称尾乡，后改用雅名美乡。[2][3]
人口民族[edit]
村中现有人口1758人，村域面积0.075平方千米。[1]
文化[edit]
2020年12月，村庄获广东省爱卫会授予「2020年广东省卫生村」称号。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，村庄三次入选淘宝村名单。[2]
