历史沿革[edit]

村原属彩塘乡，解放后自彩塘分出，初称新民村，1954年改称新联。1951年属新民乡，1952年为新联乡，1959年公社化后成立新联大队；1999年起为新联村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

2019年9月，新联村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2021年12月，村获评「2021年广东省卫生村」。2020年至2022年，村先后入选淘宝村名单。[1]
