南门村为潮安区凤塘镇所辖的行政村，位于镇政府东南面。村名因地处凤塘片村南部而得。村内有清代建成的陈氏家庙。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋绍兴丙寅年，此地创乡。1958年公社化期间，南门与东门合为一个大队；1961年单独命名为南门大队。此后，1999年起改设南门村民委员会，至今仍用此名。[1]

物产[edit]

村内以农业为主，水稻、地瓜为主要作物，兼种花生、甘蔗和柑桔。南门出产的荔枝果肉厚、核小、味甜，是当地的特产。[1]

文物[edit]

陈氏家庙在本村，建于清代，2012年被公布为潮州市文物保护单位。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2020年广东省卫生村」荣誉。2020年9月、2021年10月和2022年10月，南门村三次列入淘宝村名单。[1]
