东南村是广东省江门市鹤山市鹤城镇的行政村，位于镇主城区中部，属城郊村，下辖7条自然村（北堂、深巷、章巷、田洞、南门、九如里、九图圩），总面积约42公顷[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，南宋咸淳年间前后，陈、李、黄、吴、梁诸姓自南雄南迁，先落脚新会小冈和鹤山的桃源、黄村，到1600年左右再由新会迁到现址；立村时周围大片田地属官府，村名由此而来[1]。这一带清代归附城都管辖，民国时划入三区；1957年纳入鹤城乡，1958年随红旗人民公社设东南大队；1983年鹤山县设鹤城区公所，改称东南乡；1986年起隶鹤城镇，名为东南管理区；至1998年，改建为村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
人口民族[edit]
村民约1100多人，说东南本地话，不说客家话[1]。

村集体收入主要来自出租房屋、山地和鱼塘[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，东南村列入2018年「广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。
