冲口村位于西岸镇，村内有连州进士亭，2013年8月列入第二批中国传统村落。[1]

地名由来[edit]

冲口村始称于宋初。石脚、盐步、天凉、石马四条山冲在此汇合，村子建在汇合处，当地有「十里冲，八里口」之说，村名由此而来。[1]

文化[edit]

连州进士亭在冲口村。亭为木构建筑，建于清乾隆四十八年（1783年），用以纪念北宋皇祐年间该村陈铨、陈铸兄弟同中进士，并勉励后学。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，冲口村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。2024年3月，该村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2021年9月，冲口村入选第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产品为甜玉米。[1]

2014年7月，冲口村经农业部认定，成为「第四批全国一村一品示范村镇」，产品为连州茶心。2013年8月，冲口村被列入「第二批中国传统村落」名录。[1]
