新建村是广东省清远市英德市沙口镇下辖的行政村，下辖24个村小组，耕地面积2277.02亩。村内的杨塘传统村落是英德市历史文化名城保护规划中列出的中国传统村落之一。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前这里属石坑洞区。1986年称新建村委会，之后1990年为管理区，直到1998年10月7日才又定为村委会。[1]

荣誉与产业[edit]

2021年9月，广东省农业农村厅把新建村列入「广东省一村一品、一镇一业专业村（第二批）」名单，产业为再生稻。[1]

新建村下辖的槽村于2023年5月被广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

传统村落[edit]

英德市历史文化名城保护规划将杨塘传统村落列为保护对象，划定核心保护范围1.33公顷，建设控制地带4.60公顷，环境协调区13.50公顷。[2]

文明实践[edit]

2024年的工作总结提到，新建村拟升级为文明实践示范站，预计当年底验收。[3]
