村名取其金光闪亮、前景光明的寓意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时此地属阳山管辖。新中国成立初编为二村，归寨岗乡；1961年改名金星，设金星生产大队，隶寨岗公社。[1]

1983年改为金星乡，归寨岗区；1986年成为金星村，1988年定为管理区，1999年另立金星村村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

据2026年的政府通讯，金星村与安田村连片推进山苍子种植，两村种植面积合计超过1000亩。[2]
