新联村是福堂镇北部的行政村，距镇政府约3.5公里。[1] 村名取革新、六联两村各一字。[3] 村民多为莫、韦、黄、杨等姓，全部为少数民族。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在1961年成为大队，1983年一度恢复乡建制，之后先后改为村委会、管理区，1999年起重新以村委会的形式运作，至今未变。[1][2]

人口与产业[edit]

村委会下辖13个村民小组，分别是革一至革六、墩园、石板、新寨、黄屋、陆屋、洞心和韦屋。[1] 村内人口2541人。[1] 全村耕地合计1743亩，其中1081亩种粮食作物，另有662亩为经济作物。[1] 稻谷是收入的主要来源；副业以木材种植和家禽、家畜饲养为主。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予革五村、新寨村、洞心村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1] 新联村在2021年12月获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉。[1]
