上塘村是上洋镇的一个行政村，1999年村委会恢复，此名沿用至今。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年属阳江县第七区；1953年属第十六区，名为上塘乡；1956年归上洋区，1958年5月隶上洋乡，同年12月划入儒洞人民公社。[2]

1959年此地归石桥生产大队，隶上洋人民公社；1983年改称上塘乡，隶属上洋区；此后1987年2月组建村委会，归上洋镇；1988年阳西分县后属阳西县上洋镇；1989年改为管理区，1999年村委会复设。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年，上塘村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，名单于2019年9月公布。[1]
