平山村是广东省阳江市阳东区塘坪镇下辖的行政村。村名经过两次改动：1912年，黄姓人家在此建村，称平安村；1950年改称「坪山」，习惯上写作平山。[1]

2019年9月，平山村入选2018年广东省民主法治示范村创建名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年，保甲制取消，本地改设平山行政村，归塘坪乡公所管辖。[1]

1961年，这里属红五月公社，称石坳大队；1963年又改为平山大队。此后，1984年成立平山乡政府，1987年改为管理区，1999年改设村委会。[1]
