历史沿革[edit]
民国元年至1952年，双麻属阳江县八区。1953年起设双麻管理区，隶属双捷乡。此后经历了1956年的撤乡改区，又于次年恢复乡级建制，仍归双捷乡管。[1]
1958年归红旗公社。1959年，双麻建为生产大队；1960年改由双捷公社管辖，1961年又划回双捷区。1983年，大队撤销后改为管理区，名为双麻管理区；1986年归双捷镇，1994年转入麻汕镇。[1]
