地名由来与沿革[edit]

因位于康禾镇境以南，村名为南山[2]。

建制上，1958年为大队，1983年改设乡，1987年改为管理区，1999年东源县政府同意设立村委会，此后未变[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，南山村获「2023年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」[1]。
