1984年，丁村大队与云仔大队合设云仔乡，1988年两者分开，丁村另立村委会。^[2]

2019年9月，丁村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2023年5月，村内的丁村、西港村、丁角村获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。^[1]
