大坝村位于东水镇的宽阔盆地之上，三面环山，一面临江，村子历史已有500余年。村中保存十二幢府第式古建，该村在2016年12月进入第四批中国传统村落名录。[1]

地理环境[edit]

大坝村在东水镇中心，地处和平县最南端，东江与浰江在此汇合。该村是东水镇最集中的一个村，分布在较为平坦的地区，方圆不过四里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国二十年，设大坝乡（保）。1941年至建国初属东水乡，1952年复设大坝乡，所辖为大坝与上坝。1958年改属大田管理区，区址设在大坝。1962年建大坝大队；1983年转为大坝乡；1987年起称大坝管理区办事处，1999年起称大坝村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的府第式古建有大夫第、文林第、骆氏宗祠、文昌阁等，多为三进的布局，部分后部建有两座三层角楼，是和平县客家三大典型特色建筑之一。[1]

骆冠宙故居在田心自然村，骆维强故居也在田心。[1][2]

中共和东区第一个支部旧址在塘背自然村，原为骆姓村民的房屋，始建于清代。1939年9月，该支部在大坝村成立。[3]

文化[edit]

该村在2016年12月进入第四批中国传统村落名录。2025年5月，该村被授予「2022年度和平县文明村镇」称号。[1]
