显塘村是东水镇下辖的行政村。村落四面环山，中间地势平坦，形如一口水塘，村名由此而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国二十年，显塘归前郎仑乡管辖。1941年以后改归郎仑乡，直到解放初。1952年隶属成源乡，1962年建显塘大队，1987年设显塘管理区办事处，1999年5月起称显塘村村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
文化[edit]
2024年3月，显塘村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
