地名由来与沿革[edit]

村名的由来与建村初期村民联合抵御外来侵扰有关。[1]

1951年，村属黎咀第八区的联民乡。1958年改称联民生产大队，1967年，联民大队设革命委员会。1981年春，黎咀公社划出部分地区，设库区区人民政府联合大队。1983年，下径与联民两个大队合组为联民乡；1987年改为村委会；1989年成为联民管理区，下径另行分出；1999年复为村委会；2003年划回黎咀镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

联民村于2019年10月列入广东省卫生村名录，同年9月又入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
