梅州村是龙川县黎咀镇下辖的行政村，规划为一般村，属东江生态旅游观光组团。[2]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
先人迁来此地时建有一座阁楼，名为「梅州阁」；解放后组建高级社，村名沿用为梅州。[1]
1958年时，村属黎咀公社皮潭大队。1983年，枫树公社设立，皮潭大队改为乡；1987年改设村委会；1988年，梅州从皮潭析出，另设梅州村委会；1990年改为管理区；1999年设村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
梅州村于2019年10月列入广东省卫生村名录，同年9月入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
