石东村是龙川县黎咀镇下辖的行政村，属镇乡结合区，是镇区所在的两个村之一。[1][2]

地名由来与沿革[edit]

村名各取两个自然村名中的一字，两个自然村分别是石下和东坑水。[1]

1958年设大队；1983年改设乡，并与小畴合并；1986年改为村委会；1989年冬撤乡设管理区，分为石东、小畴两个管理区；1999年设村委会。2004年，龙川县人民政府批准小畴村委会并入石东村委会。[1]

规划与荣誉[edit]

规划以石东村、龙潭村为核心，构成全镇的“一心”。[2]

2023年5月，石东村获评2022年广东省卫生村；2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
