东方村是紫金县柏埔镇辖下的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，东方属宽得都的柏埔社、柏兴约，1929年归柏平乡。新区制下的1952年，它在第十区花乾乡内；1958年实行人民公社，成了花乾大队的一部分。[1][2] 1961年东方从花乾大队中单列为大队，但到1963年又并进东升大队。此后建制几经反复：1986年出现东方村委会，1989年变为管理区，1999年再回到村委会的称呼。[1][2]

广东省2023年度卫生村命名于2024年3月公布，东方村在名单之列。[1]
