和平村是紫金县义容镇的一个行政村，因从“新和”村分设而得名，2026年1月入选「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，原来的新和村分成两个村后，一个叫新民，一个叫和平。[1]这里1958年隶属义容公社新民大队，1961年另立和平大队，1963年改称新和大队；1983年撤社设区，改为和平乡；1987年称和平村委会，1989年转为管理区，管理区到1999年撤销，村委会随后恢复和平村委会。[1]

2019年9月，和平村被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
