罗山村在广汕公路南侧，是可塘镇最西面的行政村，同城东镇后林村相连，辖楼雅、郭厝寨、庄厝乡三个自然村，以黄、郭两姓为主。[1][2]

清雍正年间，这里是海丰55约之一，叫石塘都罗山约。庄厝乡的公爷宫，是彭湃于1922年12月发起成立罗山约农会的地方。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

罗山乡最初设于1950年，属六区；1952年分出罗东、罗南、罗北三乡，罗山一名到1964年才又用作大队名，此后改乡、改村委会，1998年起为村委会。[1]

地方风物[edit]

公爷宫相传为五罗一带48个乡共同供奉。县志所记的罗山桥由是清代一位姓刘的指挥使（名国勋）所建，现已不存。郭厝寨建于约400年前，先祖从潮阳贵屿迁来，初有郑、黄、郭三姓，黄姓多，原名黄厝寨，郑、黄两姓迁走后才改叫今名。[2] 村里素来尚武，出过不少拳师，所制「跌打科」药散颇有名气。[2] 村民多以耕田种菜为生，耕地1630亩。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月获「2020年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年1月，被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
