历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，清顺治年间，陆丰的林姓人迁来建村。此后长期隶属陇西一带：1958年起是可塘公社陇西大队的一部分，1974年另立仓前大队；1987年改称仓前村委会，1989年一度叫管理区办事处。[1]
经济[edit]
全村耕地716亩，其中水田484亩，果园237亩，另有淡水养殖面积120亩，以农业为主，采用渔、禽、果立体种养的办法；不少村民外出做工商业。[1] 村道已水泥硬化，被评为省级环保生态示范村，也是市「美德在农家」活动的示范点。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，仓前村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2020年广东省卫生村」称号，同月列入2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年9月又被认定为第二批全国乡村治理示范村。[1]
