溪头村在可塘镇城乡结合部，西邻可塘社区，东与陆丰潭西镇交界，溪头河穿村而过，分6个自然村：溪东、溪南、溪西、溪北，以及低港和君硕围。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，清乾隆年间有人从八万迁来立村。1952年取金竹围的「金」字、溪头村的「溪」字设九区金溪乡；1974年金溪大队分设联金、溪头两个大队，1987年称溪头村委会，1989年设管理区办事处，1998年复设村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
溪北村最大，以吴姓为主；溪南居民姓叶，溪西姓张，君硕围姓吴；溪东杂居黄、谢、叶、卓四姓，低港则是林、刘两姓。人多地少，耕地2051亩，村民自古多外出谋生，旅居香港的有300多户。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年1月，被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
