石头村是汕尾市城区捷胜镇的行政村，村民以潜水打捞作业闻名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代叫石桥头村，民国时改称石头村；新中国成立初期属捷胜乡、捷胜区；公社化时期设石头大队；1989年改管理区，1999年设村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网，村中562户、2786人，耕地477亩，淡水养殖130亩。村民以潜捞为主业，兼营种养，外出务工者多，村里有不少潜捞能手，对本市处理海上事故有所贡献。它与南门外村、南门社区、石岗村共有一片「大埔千亩蔬菜基地」。2008年集体经济收入1.5万元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，进入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
